From the BLKSTARUNTD personal archive, this Year of the Star Fabric Lux denim jacket is a singular collectible—only one exists. The relaxed XL silhouette is designed as a unisex statement layer and can be styled true to size or intentionally oversized.
Hand-sewn panels of traditional handwoven Kente transform the collar, bringing the depth, rhythm, and visual language of Ghanaian textile tradition into a lived-in denim form. Because the Kente is woven and applied by hand, its character and natural variation are part of the piece.
The front is finished with red, gold, and green BLK★UNTD embroidery. Across the back, a black star edged in gold rises above a red line and vivid green YEAR OF THE STAR embroidery—a composition rooted in Ghana, identity, and the responsibility to carry culture forward.
